Teeth Whitening in
Fort Myers

It's natural to want to look and feel your best. Whether you have a busy career or an active social life, having a bright, healthy smile can give you added confidence in your day-to-day life.

Teeth Whitening Treatment

Have you ever noticed that your teeth are not as white as they used to be? Darkening and stained teeth are a natural part of aging, but they can make you appear older than you really are. Discoloration can also be caused by diet, tobacco or genetics. Today, achieving a white smile is easier and more affordable than ever. At Alliance Dental, we offer both in-office and take-home professional teeth whitening systems to meet the needs of our patients.

In-Office Professional Teeth Whitening

If you have a special event in the near future and you want a whiter smile, in-office professional teeth whitening might be for you. With a two-hour office visit, we can help you achieve a whiter and more beautiful smile.

We place professional strength Zoom! Whitening gel on the surface of your teeth and activate it with a special light. We can repeat the process several times until we achieve your desired level of whitening.

So that you can maintain your whiter smile, we will send you home with a custom whitening system for continued whitening and touch-up treatments.

Take-Home Professional Teeth Whitening

One of the most affordable and effective whitening treatments is our take-home Zoom! Whitening system. We will take impressions of your teeth in order to create your custom whitening trays. They will fit your teeth perfectly and feel comfortable and easy-to-wear. We will provide enough whitening gel for you to achieve successful results.

Your custom whitening trays will keep the whitening gel on the surface of your teeth where it belongs and help prevent leaking, which can cause sensitivity.

After several weeks of regular use, your teeth will look visibly brighter. Depending on how stained your teeth are, you can achieve up to eight shades of whitening. White teeth can give you a younger and healthier appearance.

Avoiding Side Effects

Most people can whiten their teeth with few or no side effects. Occasionally, however, patients may experience sensitivity or sore gums. This often comes from using too much whitening gel. When you place the whitening gel in your custom trays, use only a small dot. That way, it will not seep out onto your gums. Taking a break between whitening sessions can also reduce sensitivity. Leave a day or two between treatments, and your symptoms will likely improve.
